Free Screenings of Award-Winning Short Films

PHNOM PENH: Legend Cinemas and Chaktomuk Short Film Festival organized free screenings of selected and award-winning short films from the Cambodian short film communities in “Lerng Rong Kon” (LRK).

LRK is the first campaign by CSFF to build a relationship between the audience and young filmmakers. Come experience the cinematography and what to expect at CSFF this year.

This event will be also be attended by special guests in the film industry, including Cambodian young filmmakers, directors, and cast from the invited short films.

The Chaktomuk Short Film Festival has launched its 11th edition (CSFF-XI) and will accept short film submissions until 23:59 PM on 15 June (Cambodia time).

CSFF accepts music videos, animation, fiction, and documentaries, as long as the films do not exceed 30 minutes in length. This CSFF-XI will feature prizes in the following competitive categories: Best Cambodian Short Film, First Runner-Up Cambodian Short Film, Best International Short Film (NEW), Audience Award for Local Short Films, and Audience Award for International Short Films.

The short film festival is officially supported by the Ministry of Information and Legend Cinemas, with Sabay News and EAC News as its media partners. The festival welcomes any financial support, especially in the form of cash prizes to the upcoming winners.
